OVERVIEW:
A 2D top-down RPG with combat centred around movement and strategy with ever-changing power dynamics between hunter and hunted. Combat takes inspiration from chess with movements on a grid, while the game's narrative uses a loyalty system between two factions generating multiple endings. All these mechanics are encased in a rich story for the player to uncover.
DESIGN BRIEF:
Design a game based on the Pacman mechanic of being chased then using a limited resource to chase enemies for a period of time.
